There was one stamp left, one paper and one envelope. This was the last one, the last letter they will send. They will continue their Work and their adventures somewhere else, farther away from me. This was the Farewell letter they had written:
Our Dearest One,
It’s not easy to let go, it is not easy to forget, but in order for us to be reunited in the end, it is time to separate. We wanted to let you know that you have amazed us in the stories you have created for us, the lives you had let us live. You taught us lessons, you taught us words with a new founded light. We are sorry for the pain that we have put you through, but as you taught us, the uncomfortable or the unwanted experiences are rather the ones that teach us more about ourselves. Your light traveled through each one of us, and we are grateful to have a piece of you.
Remember our stories. Remember the sweat you poured for each one of us. We are not discarded or forgotten, but rather put in a boat to be cast onto the seven seas, to explore what we have not yet learned. You are a new You. You have new stories to write, this time, write them with no hesitance. Write purely and exquisitely. Write with only a pinch of your blood, for flooding the paper you will not see the ink. Let the elements guide you in your new beginnings. You are my favorite Writer.
Don’t hold onto us, it’ll hurt only in the long run. Don’t be afraid to let go, because you and your reflection are the only things you will keep. Remember what you were born to do, don’t let someone else walk your shoes. Be confident, be smart. You had fell many times and have shed so many burdens off your shoulders, don’t keep carrying around the rocks you don’t need. Your time is endless as it is limited, so be lucid in everything you do. Smile often, you definitely deserve it.
With many thanks, this is our last letter to you, so close your book of what was and create a new book of what is. We will be here if you need us, but don’t count on us to shelter you- make a new home. You are stronger than before, so use your force of Nature. You are unfolding into something you thought was not possible- so just believe, because we believe in you.
